Description
DCL Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators feature an optional integrated over-torque protection system. Built with high-grade, German-engineered disc springs—renowned for their exceptional fatigue resistance and minimal deformation—this system ensures that over-torque settings remain stable and drift-free, even after millions of cycles.
Engineered for the vast majority of explosive gas environments (excluding underground mining), these actuators incorporate highly secure, flameproof motors and electronics. Every mating surface undergoes rigorous precision machining and inspection to guarantee that flame paths strictly contain any internal sparks. Furthermore, the aluminum enclosures are manufactured using high-tonnage die-casting equipment. This creates a highly dense grain structure, enabling the housing to withstand significantly higher internal explosion pressures than standard actuators.
Fully CSA certified to UL and CSA standards, these units comply with both Zone and Division classification systems for hazardous locations.
